Sharing a Message

Follow these steps to share a voicemail message as an audio message:

1.   While in the Message Playback screen, tap the Share menu option . The Share Via menu appears.

2.   If the message being shared has been transcribed by the Voicemail-to-Text transcription service, you will be presented with a list of message sharing types. Select To contact. The Share screen appears.

If the message being shared has NOT been transcribed, the Share screen appears immediately.

3.   Start typing the phone number, email address, or tap to select a contact from your contact book.

4.   Select the contact from the options provided, or if the contact is not in your contact book, finish entering the sharing phone number or email address. Tap to hide the keyboard.

5.   Tap Send to send your message or Discard to discard your message.

Note: Messages marked as Private cannot be shared.
