Replying with a Text Message

You can reply to Visual Voicemail messages while in the Message Playback screen and while viewing notifications.

Note: Standard text message rates apply.

To reply with a text message (SMS) from the Message Playback screen

1.   In the Message Playback screen, tap Reply .

2.   Tap TEXT MESSAGE (SMS). The SMS compose screen appears.

3.   Type the text of your message using the on-screen keyboard.

4.   When you finish, tap the button to dismiss the keyboard.

5.   If you want to add an attachment, press the device's Menu button and then tap Attach .  

6.   To send your text message, tap .

To reply with a text message (SMS) from the Notification bar

1.   Find the message you want to reply to in the Notification bar.

2.   Tap REPLY.

3.   Type the text of your message using the on-screen keyboard.

4.   To send your text message, tap Send.
