Forwarding Messages via SMS

If you have subscribed to Voicemail-to-Text transcription, you can forward a transcription of a received voice mail as a text message (SMS). Follow these steps:

1. While in the Message Playback screen, press and then tap (Forward). You will be presented with a list of message forward types.

Note: This list and its forward via SMS option will appear only if the message being forwarded was transcribed by the Voicemail-to-Text service. It will not be available otherwise.

2. Select Via SMS. The Sprint Visual Voicemail application will display the SMS compose screen, populated with a transcription of the message being forwarded.
3. If you want to make any changes to the transcription prior to sending, tap the transcribed text and use the on-screen keyboard to make any desired changes.
4. To specify the recipient of the text message, do one of the following:

●   Tap the To field and then use the on-screen keyboard to enter the phone number of the mobile phone to which you wish to send the text message.

●  Tap to select a contact from your contact book.

5. If you want to add an attachment tap .  Refer to your phone handset's Mobile Guide for adding various types of attachments.
6. To send your text message tap .

Menu Options

Pressing in the SMS compose screen provides the following additional options:

●  All messages. View the list of received text messages (SMS).

●  Quick text. Quickly insert common response phrases such as "I'm running late" or "Let's catch up soon."

●  Attach. Attach a file to your text message.

●  Discard. Discard the message without sending it.

●  Add subject. Add a subject line to your text message.

●  Insert smiley. Insert a "smiley" into your text message.

●  Search. Search messages.
