Setting Up Your Visual Voicemail

Your Visual Voicemail can be accessed from your mobile phone.

1.   Tap the Voicemail icon on the Home Screen.

2.   Press your device's Home button and tap All Apps > Voicemail. The Visual Voicemail application will launch and the Visual Voicemail screen will be displayed.  

a.  If this is the first time you are using Visual Voicemail, tap Personalize now to setup your Voicemail. Follow the instructions to set your password and record your greeting.

b.  If you do not wish to personalize your greeting at this time, tap Close. This prompt will appear again next time you launch the Visual Voicemail application.

c.  Tap Do not show again, if you do not want this prompt to appear again. This will not prevent you from personalizing your Visual Voicemail. You can still access this configuration option through the application's settings page.

3.   Once you have closed this dialog, you will see the Visual Voicemail Inbox.

4.    There are two messages initially in your Inbox that introduce you to the software. One of them is a welcome message and the other describes the optional Voicemail-to-Text feature. Tap either of these messages to begin playing it. Initially, there is a "Welcome to Voicemail" message in your inbox. Tap this message to begin playing it.

Note: Both of these messages offer the option of subscribing to the optional Voicemail-to-Text service. But, the option is also available elsewhere (for example, in the application's settings page). So, you don't have to keep these messages just because you are considering signing up later.

5.   After listening to the message, you can return to the Inbox by doing either of the following:

●  Tap the red trash can icon to delete the message.

●  Press your phone's back button to go back to the Inbox without deleting the message.
