Voicemail messages can be directed to either one of two speaker modes:
● If you want to lay the phone down when you are listening to voicemail messages, you can configure Visual Voicemail to play in speakerphone mode.
● If you would rather hold the phone to your ear when listening to voicemail messages, you can configure Visual Voicemail to disable speakerphone mode.
Follow these steps to configure this setting:
1. Open Voicemail settings. (Select Menu and then Settings in your voicemail inbox.)
2. If you wish to enable speakerphone mode for voicemail messages, check the Speakerphone box (by tapping on it).
If you wish to disable speakerphone mode, clear this box.
