Reset Visual Voicemail

If your device fails to provision with the Visual Voicemail server when you first run Visual Voicemail, or if you stop receiving voicemails or voicemail notifications, you can try to fix the problem by resetting the Visual Voicemail application.

Resetting the app will refresh your account settings and request the Visual Voicemail server to download any pending voicemails. No voicemails currently stored in the app will be deleted. You should only perform a reset if instructed to do so by customer care.

To reset the Visual Voicemail app, make sure your device has Internet access, and then follow these steps:

1. Open the main menu by tapping the menu icon , or placing your finger on the left edge of the screen and swiping to the right.
2. Tap Settings.
3. Tap Help/Info.
4. Tap Reset Visual Voicemail. A window appears explaining the reset option.
5. Tap RESET. The Visual Voicemail app will close, and then restart after a few seconds.

Note: If the Visual Voicemail app does not automatically restart, you will need to manually launch the app.

Contact customer care if you continue to have problems receiving voicemails.
